Li'l Cheddar Meat Loaves by Jen

1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound ground beef
2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard

In a large bowl, whisk egg and milk. Stir in the cheese, oats, onion and salt. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight loaves; place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spoon over loaves.

Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes or until no pink remains and a meat thermometer reads 160°.

  1. I've made these and loved them! Here's the post when I made them:

  2. Loved the individual loaves! Grown-ups ate more than one - kids theirs fine. This was yummy!
    Thanks, Jen!!

  3. These were good. Thanks!

  4. These were awesome. Make again please! We had just enough for our family, only 1 was leftover, and it was gone the next day. They are kind of sweet, maybe that is why my kids loved them. I cooked them from freezer for 2 hours. Turned out perfect. Thanks.

  5. We really liked these Jen. Thanks for a great meal! They look so cute in the pan!!
