Tater Tot Casserole by Beth

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 c. milk
16 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
28 oz. package frozen tater tots

Assembly:
In skillet, brown beef with onions; drain.  In large bowl, mix beef/onion mixture, soups, milk, and frozen veggies (no need to thaw).  Spread into greased foil casserole pan.  Top with frozen tots.  Cover with foil lid and freeze.

Serving Day:
Thaw in fridge.  Bake at 375 for 1 hour or until potatoes are golden brown and filling is heated through.  To crisp up tots, broil for 5 min.

  1. My family loved this meal. I did cook it covered from frozen at 350 degrees for 2 hours then took the cover off for 30 min. It was perfect! Thanks for a great meal.

  2. Good simple meal. I cooked it from frozen for about 2 hours and then took the cover off to let the tots crisp up. Thanks!

  3. My mom used to make this for us when we were going up. Absolutely loved it! Although she didn't use Cream of Chicken. Just Cream of Mushroom. It is definitely a kid favorite!

  4. To add to my previous comment, you can also bake it like a meatloaf. Raw meat baked and then add the cream of mushroom and tator tots to finish up.
